Why the Old Mass?

Requiem Masses for the deceased, according to the traditional rite of the 1962 Missal, may be requested for our beloved dead.
The following photos were taken at a Requiem High Mass celebrated in memory of parishioner Lucy Akelewicz Roche of Voorheesville on January 20, 2004. Musical accompaniment was by the New York Catholic Chorale. May her soul rest in peace.

Requiem masses are also offered for non-parishioners. A Solemn High Requiem Mass was celebrated on April 1, 2004 in memory of William L. Sipperly, brother of Father Edward Sipperly. On May 8, 2004 one was offered for Ethel Clarke Edery (1912-2004). A Requiem Mass was offered on October 19, 2007 for parishioner Joan Sabatino.
